Weaning & Age Requirements:

- All kits will be weaned at 8-9 weeks old and must weigh over 200 grams when weaned.

Pending Status:

- "Pending" indicates a verbal agreement has been made, and a deposit is pending.

Deposits:

- A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to place a chinchilla on hold when they are 6 weeks old or older.

- Deposits must be received within 24 hours of the verbal agreement unless other arrangements have been made. If the deposit is not received, the chinchilla will be placed back on the available list.

Additional Holding Fees:

- If you need to hold a chinchilla for more than 2 weeks, an additional $25 per week holding fee will apply.

- Non-Refundable Deposits: Deposits are non-refundable. If you change your mind or fail to pick up your chinchilla after the deposit has been made, the deposit is forfeited.

Ownership & Responsibility:

- Once the chinchilla leaves our care in good health, it is the new owner’s responsibility for vet bills, supplies, and providing a happy, healthy home.

- If, for any reason, you can no longer care for the chinchilla, we will accept the animal back as a surrender, but no refund or replacement will be provided.

Health Guarantee: 

- We will replace animals bred by us only if they pass away within 5 days of purchase. Proof of death (vet papers) is required. After 5 days, we are not responsible for any health issues.

- Animals that are surrendered to us do not come with a health guarantee and we are not responsible for their genetic background.

Sexual Compatibility:

- We sell same-sex pairs only. If you already have a chinchilla, the new chinchilla must be the same sex.

Pedigree & Care:

- Pet-only chinchillas will not come with a pedigree.

- All chinchillas are handled daily and are given the best care possible.

Meetings & Pickup:

- We prefer to meet in front of our home or at a public, busy location to ensure the safety of our animals and property.
